Objectives :

RECOTOX aims at becoming an incubator for research projects, by promoting the appropriation of ecotoxicological issues with a sequential approach between its sites. The appropriation will be promoted :

• In all sites by :
  • Sharing of knowledge (and concepts), compiling acquired data, developing common or harmonized methods and protocols by processes,
  • The homogenization of reference documents and procurement,
  • The integration of existing data in an information system allowing their access by the national and international scientific community,
  • The identification of significant aspects to reinforce on each site for a better answer to scientific questions addressed and allow evolution of data acquiring practices,

• In sites where the actions are relevant and suitable :
  • By strengthening the existing measurements on practices and uses, transfers, exposure, or impacts in the different compartments, at the relevant spatial and temporal scales,
  • By developing an integrated approach and/or by transposing methods and models developed on other sites of the network.

• Added value :
  • Incubation of research projects and creative ideas,
  • Better collective use of sites,
  • Progressive appropriation of ecotoxicological issues within the sites,
  • Ability to consider, with partnership, experimentations in controlled conditions to in natura sites,
• Deliverables :
  • Scientific meetings to prepare relevant call for projects,
  • Scientific position papers,
  • Research projects.
